Set for drilling radial holes on woodturning lathes
On professional woodturning lathes it is possibile to stop the spindle in a lot of different positions.
This characteristic allows you to bore radial holes in the turned workpiece. For example you will be able to make holes in a workpiece in order to insert wedges of a different type of wood.
That will create a special decorative effect.
This set includes a steel support and a head with two inner bores. It is suppied with 6 bushes of 4 - 5 - 6 - 8 - 10 and 12 mm diameter.
In the package you will also find two steel rods of different diameters, with some notches. The smallest size is intended for JET woodturning lathes JML-1014I and JWL-1220. The biggest one is for the other lathes. You will have to cut the rod at the notch indicated for your lathe.

Axial Milling Device for Woodturning Lathes
Stopping the spindle of professional woodturning lathes, this device is designed specifically for routing grooves and slots in your work piece making use of a normal portable router.
The 100 mm wide support that slides on steel bars has orthogonal slots, onto which almost all portable routers can be fastened.
This device is suitable for any woodturning lathe with a centre distance between 120 mm (diameter swing 250 mm/10”) and 305 mm (diameter swing 620 mm/48”).
While working the axis of the router bit should correspond to the lathe axis. Anyway it is also possible to set it at a different height in order to mill a different profile.
The maximum working length is 440 mm, depending on the size of your router plate.
