Tailstock interchangeable heads for wood turning
The live wood lathe tailstock has a body formed by an attack Morse taper and a rotating part supported by two bearings lubricated sealed + Ingrado a thrust bearing to support an axial load of 13.200N (about 1.300kg).
On this body tailstock apply heads of various shapes depending on the needs of the turning.
The tailstock for wood is different from that for metal, in fact, in addition to the tip has a special crown that penetrates a little in wood compressing and holding the work piece by absorbing the effort of turning; the central tip can be removed can be interchanged two leads, a shorter one which penetrates slightly into the wood and one long that compresses penetrating more and more compact wood fibers.
We provide two references with a hole ø 9 mm to the deep drilling with the appropriate tip "foil" and an 'other with full shank designed for heavy work with large wood and work with piece eccentric.
