Ideal for drilling large and deep holes into solid wood bowls and vases.

Used on wood lathes. Ideal for drilling large and deep holes into solid wood bowls and vases. The useful depth of the holes bored is 250 mm.

Through predrilling it is possible to speed up the hollowing operations of a wood piece.
Made up of a steel body, available in two different dimensions.

The smaller body is supplied with with a 55 mm knife, while the bigger one with a 100 mm knife. Both bodies need a 2MT hexagonal shaft to be fixed to the lathe, that is available separately.
It comes complete with a support to be fitted into the tool rest of the lathe.
All the replaceable knives, available in different sizes, are made of HSS18%W steel and can be re-sharpened.
