Self-Centering Strong Chuck
The Strong chuck is a concentrate of technology and versatility made in Italy.
Specially designed for large objects that are often made at the lathe, it is the ideal chuck for all medium size large lathes (from 50Kg onwards). Designed for heavy and demanding work, it can safely perform small objects because it can assemble all the jaws of the Lite chuck.
Supplied standard with the type 5 jaws can also fit the optional Jaws type 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9

The chuck protrusion from the lathe attachment is of only 52 mm, excluding jaws, the dimension also includes the thread.
Compared to the other chucks, you recover at least 10 mm of space on the lathe and bring the rotating mass closer to the shaft
bearings thus reducing vibration and stress for the lathe.
For the predisposed lathes the Strong spindle is fitted with a flange DIN 800 with the taper for the safety collar, for the other lathes
it is still equipped with the safety locking grub Screw.
