NGz/SC Self-Centering Four-Jaw Chuck
Our mandrels have 4 jaw chucks. The jaws are held for the piece is expanding both in contraction. The slide shoe holder has a great workpiece clamping prevents excessive opening ensuring a great and safe clamping. They are available a wide range of designer labels for multiple uses, and are specific to these spindles. The jaws of these chucks are interchangeable, they can't be mounted on different chuck.
Spin Jaw Set
Specially designed to provide a strong grip both in the contracting (gripping round or square spigots) and in the expanding mode with up to 10” long work piece.
Ideal for long, unsupported hollow boxes and vases.
Their serrated tooth form makes for a very powerful grip that just won’t let go.
35 mm spigot jaw set can handle spigots up to 50 mm and minimum down to 30 mm.
45 mm spigot jaw set can handle spigots up to 60 mm and minimum down to 30 mm.
PowerGrip Jaw
The most powerful jaw available for large spigot/hollow form turning on the SGNz2 Art. no. 3835.
Also a multi purpose jaw for bowl turners and hollow form turners. Thanks to their dovetail shape it is possible to fasten work pieces with a diameter between 77 mm and 98 mm.
Suitable for up to 736mm/29” diameter bowls or up to 482 mm/19” length spigots.
Big Jaw Set
The 100 mm jaw sets are designed for an expanded dovetail grip (up to 14” diameter), reverse dovetail grip for gripping footed bowls, limited spigot facility (up to 6” long) and provision to mount false wooden jaws, so customised jaws can be made for special purposes. They are made for a larger range of work than the standard 50 mm jaws or step jaws.

Maxi Jaw set
Designed for re-chucking of bowls to remove chuck marks. To ensure best grip, the bowl should have a positive or negative flair towards the edge of the bowl. Try and avoid straight sided bowls where the grip will be less efficient. Best cutting technique is to have a cutting action with the chisel such that much of the force is directed towards the headstock, not across the face.
